		<description>Unfortunately MS has backed out (temporarily I hope) and issued a windows (IE) update that requires clicking on the ActiveX controls to activate them.
GREEDY Eolas is simply taking advantage of the weakness in the patent system. If a zillion people think of an idea at the same time and the one that goes to the patent office a millisecond sooner gets rewarded with millions of dollars, then it&#039;s time to change the patent system. If the politicians are not willing to change it, then it&#039;s time to change the politicians (is that in our hands!?)
MS has published code snippets to bypass this restriction. I&#039;m sure somebody will post a eolaskiller.js script to automatically remove the embedded controls and reinsert them programmatically.
I wonder if IE can legally block users from visiting eolas.com.
