4523 steps this morning. Summer brings out all the interesting folks on the beach, but it also makes morning runs really hot and sweaty unless you get up at 5am (ha). Reasons I love my morning run along the beach: sea sand and sunshine, friends and laughter, Dachshunds, waves, jellyfish explosions, tourists in safari suits, children, ships on the horizon, dolphins, bikinis, the lighthouse, sea breeze, getting in early to work.
