hello my son

I felt Caleb move for the first time last night - what an awesome amazing wonderful feeling :-) I dreamt that I could talk to him last night... but that all he did was cry, even though he could understand me perfectly. Clair promised to wake me up if he moved again, but of course he didn't... and he woke up after i'd left for work (or rather a Microsoft security seminar - i can't believe i missed it for Microsoft - argh the irony). I can't wait until he bounces around again when i'm there. He seems to stop moving when I put my palm on Clair's tummy - i felt him pressing down with only my fingers last night - maybe he's like his mom and avoids heat :-) Soon soon!

I've managed to convert the video of his first (7 weeks 6 days) and most recent (20 weeks) scans into digital format - 1.8 gigs isn't exactly portable, so i'm experimenting with different formats (divx!) and apps (Windows Movie Maker is a piece of cake to use - I actually like it!).

I'll post some snapshots tomorrow.
