caleb in 3d

We went for our first 3D scan yesterday, not really expecting anything because of the negative reports from other parents... but we got lucky :) Despite Caleb's shyness (he tried to hide his face with both hands as well as a foot at one stage), and with a little prodding from the nurse, we got the following glimpses of our son!

Antenatal classes are better than I expected... some scary truths, but brilliant people who are totally honest, very experienced and very reassuring. I didn't realise "by default" epidurals were such a South African phenomena... but as far as we're concerned, it's the only way to go. It's nice to see so many other (mostly future) dads there... i'll wait and see how many attend next week (the topic for the evening is breastfeeding).
