Hello Toutatis

T-minus 6 hours until Asteroid (4179) Toutatis zooms past (39,600 km/h is fast - that's more than 32 times the speed of sound!). And to think, we may not even have noticed it a few years ago. NASA describes it as "yam shaped" :-) - and it's huge (1.92 x 2.29 x 4.6 km) and has a bizarre tumbling rotation unlike most other bodies out there.
